Registration has opened for 2008!
The city of Baxter invites you to take part in this exciting triathlon.
The Lakes Country Triathlon continues to build into one of the best triathlons
in the state.
The race begins with a ½-mile swim in Whipple Lake (known for its calm waters), then switches to a 17-mile bike through the rolling hills surrounding the Baxter/Brainerd Lakes area, and ends with a very flat 3.8 mile run through a quiet residential area. The Lakes Country Triathlon is a great race, be it your first or fiftieth!
The race is limited to 400 entries, and race day registration is not available. Registration confirmation will be available online and via email.
Proceeds raised from this event will go toward local fund-raising efforts including the improvement of city parks in Baxter. In three years over $3,700 in event proceeds have been used to purchase parks equipment.
About the Race

to competing in a triathlon, click
here and ask away! Very basic or more detailed questions are all welcomed
